Aura seminalis

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Italian ambient architect Stefano Musso constructs a deeply meditative, spiritual soundscape utilizing acoustic textures and looping vocal chants. The lengthy, slowly evolving drone compositions avoid traditional synthesizers, favoring manipulated field recordings and organic, ecclesiastical choruses to evoke the atmosphere of an ancient monastery. It remains a critically revered entry in his massive catalog of ritualistic ambient music.
