Album Notes & Community Reviews
The second installment in Carsten Nicolai's massive 'Xerrox' conceptual series, which utilizes heavily manipulated digital samples to create vast, melancholic ambient music. The tracks explore the degradation of audio files through constant copying, transforming familiar cinematic samples into terrifying, beautiful walls of static and drone. It is a masterful, highly technical exercise in finding emotion within digital error and white noise.
