The third installment of Carsten Nicolai's massive, five-part conceptual exploration of digital replication and decay. Inspired deeply by the science fiction films of his childhood, the compositions utilize heavily processed, deteriorating samples that slowly morph into cinematic, orchestral ambient drones. The project offers a profound meditation on the beauty found within corrupted data and technological artifacts.
