'Philophobia' is a deeply pessimistic and lethargic pinnacle of Scottish slowcore and indie-folk. Arab Strap pairs incredibly sparse, acoustic-driven instrumentation with Aidan Moffat's vulgar, spoken-word narratives concerning alcohol, sexual dysfunction, and profound romantic apathy.
