Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his unparalleled mastery of the melodica, Augustus Pablo's 'East of the River Nile' is an incredibly peaceful, deeply immersive instrumental reggae classic. The record drifts gracefully through warmly tropical, highly atmospheric dub landscapes, delivering a profoundly mellow, distinctly psychedelic journey anchored by his hauntingly melodic, uniquely Far-Eastern-inspired playing.
