Corrosion of Hearts

Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a grueling fourteen-year hiatus, the legendary Australian depressive black metal duo returns with the sprawling 'Corrosion of Hearts'. The record retains the agonizing shrieks and melancholic tremolo riffs of their early work but introduces a slightly warmer, blackgaze-influenced production style. It masterfully evokes a prolonged, almost beautiful sense of sorrow through expansive, repetitive songwriting.
