Album Notes & Community Reviews

Australian extreme metal duo Austere crafted an overwhelmingly bleak, despairing atmosphere on 'Withering Illusions and Desolation'. The harrowing recording stretches incredibly repetitive, slow-moving black metal riffs and tortured, echoing shrieks across sprawling, funereal song structures.
