Album Notes & Community Reviews

Taking inspiration from ancient myths and brutalist architecture, 'Electronic Labyrinth' is an intricate and deeply personal full-length album from Basic Rhythm. Released on Planet Mu, the record features a cover photo of the now-demolished St. Fabian Tower, where Hart once operated as a pirate radio DJ on Rude FM. The analogue-heavy compositions move away from strict jungle formulas to instead explore a wonky, horizontal geometry of electroacoustic soundscapes and minimal techno grooves.
