Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded while frontman Peter Murphy was severely ill, 'Burning From the Inside' showcases the other band members taking significant vocal and songwriting control. The resulting album is a deeply eclectic, highly atmospheric splintering of their gothic rock sound, heavily incorporating acoustic guitars, dub rhythms, and neo-psychedelic textures. It serves as a beautifully sombre, cryptic, and creatively fractured swan song for the post-punk pioneers.
