Album Notes & Community Reviews
Norwegian saxophonist Bendik Giske employs circular breathing and heavily mic'd acoustic instruments to craft an incredibly physical, hypnotic minimalist record. Recorded entirely without digital looping, 'Cracks' captures the intense bodily mechanics of his performance, turning key clicks and sharply drawn breaths into driving, club-adjacent rhythms. It is a surreal, highly intimate acoustic exploration of bodily endurance.
