Biography
Bendik Giske is a Norwegian saxophonist and performance artist from Oslo, based in Berlin. Using circular breathing and microphones placed across his instrument and body, he turns breath, key noise and physical strain into continuous, rhythmically charged solo music situated between free jazz, ambient and club culture. After collaborating with artists including *Nils Bech*, he released 'Surrender' on #Smalltown Supersound# in 2019, performing entirely alone without overdubs. 'Cracks' followed in 2021 and 'Bendik Giske' in 2023.
