Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by a collection of late 19th-century photographs depicting a Polish forest, Geir Jenssen constructs a haunting meditation utilizing heavy manipulation of Eastern European folk recordings. The looped, ghostly vocal fragments are submerged entirely in deep, sepia-toned ambient processing.
