Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their evolution away from blistering hardcore, Black Flag fully embraced the sludgy, mid-paced grind of 70s heavy metal on 'Loose Nut'. Greg Ginn鈥檚 atonal, highly complex guitar solos violently weave through a dense, punishing rhythm section, backing Henry Rollins's intensely angry, misanthropic vocals. The album is a dark, incredibly aggressive, and heavily metallic exploration of post-hardcore alienation.
