Integrating heavily distorted, Sabbath-inspired heavy metal riffs into their aggressive punk foundation, Black Flag crafted a dense, highly polarizing crossover record. Greg Ginn's atonal, extended guitar solos clash with Henry Rollins's incredibly raw, misanthropic vocals, aggressively pushing the boundaries of the hardcore scene. 'Slip It In' is a violently heavy, dissonant, and remarkably angry exploration of post-hardcore alienation.
