Album Notes & Community Reviews

A highly influential underground mixtape from the Virginia-based pioneer of the emo-rap and dark cloud-rap movement. The production relies on incredibly hazy, lo-fi synthesizer loops and sluggish trap percussion, perfectly reflecting his mumbled, emotionally despondent vocal delivery. It serves as a foundational text for the internet-born, soundcloud rap aesthetics that would dominate the late 2010s.
