Album Notes & Community Reviews

Faced with the daunting departure of frontman David Clayton-Thomas, the pioneering jazz-rock ensemble recruited vocalist Jerry Fisher and leaned heavily into complex, horn-driven instrumental interplay. The revamped lineup's first outing successfully maintains the group's signature muscular brass arrangements while pushing their sound toward a looser, more improvisation-focused fusion aesthetic.
