Album Notes & Community Reviews
The New York City experimental metal outfit delivers a crushing, claustrophobic second album built on glacial tempos and suffocating distortion. Frontwoman Yoshiko Ohara's terrifying, shrieking vocal performance cuts through the avant-garde doom soundscapes like a ritualistic invocation. The inclusion of choir arrangements and unconventional instrumentation adds a uniquely theatrical and occult dimension to the extreme heaviness.
