Recorded partially outdoors to accommodate their obscenely loud amplifiers, Blue Cheer's sophomore effort continued their relentless assault on traditional blues-rock. 'Outsideinside' is fiercely energetic and wildly fuzzy, delivering wonderfully raw, overwhelmingly heavy acid-rock riffing wrapped in a deeply psychedelic, drug-fueled proto-metal grit.
