On their third studio album, the Bronx-born garage rockers consciously attempted to expand their sound beyond standard fuzz-box blues into more sophisticated, experimental psychedelia. The arrangements are increasingly ambitious, incorporating lush orchestration, tape effects, and diverse instrumentation alongside their signature Farfisa organ grooves. Despite the artistic growth, the record failed to yield a major hit, leading to the original lineup's imminent dissolution.
