Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following a long period away from the music industry after personal tragedies, the legendary Malian guitarist made a remarkable international comeback with this album. The incredibly intimate, acoustic performances highlight his unique synthesis of traditional Mande musical scales with deep, sorrowful American blues.
