Album Notes & Community Reviews
Led by Michael Krassner, the ever-shifting collective relies entirely on live, in-studio improvisation to generate highly cinematic and melancholic soundscapes. The interplay between acoustic instrumentation and subtle electronic textures creates a sparse, desolate atmosphere strongly reminiscent of the vast Midwestern plains. It is a masterful study in restraint and reductionist post-rock.
