Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reconvening after a decade-long hiatus without founding drummer Phil Collins, the veteran jazz-fusion outfit stripped their sound down to a tight, focused trio. 'XCommunication' features founding members Percy Jones and John Goodsall delivering highly intricate, groove-oriented instrumental jams heavily reliant on slick, modern production. The resulting album is a vibrant, urban-sounding revitalization of their classic 1970s jazz-rock aesthetic.
