Album Notes & Community Reviews
Composed as an incredibly long, continuous 61-minute piece intended to accompany a video installation, 'Thursday Afternoon' is a pinnacle of Brian Eno's ambient works. The album features incredibly soft, generative piano chords and subtle electronic washes that slowly drift in and out of silence. It is a profoundly peaceful, meditative, and highly ethereal auditory environment designed to induce absolute calm.
