Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled as the official soundtrack to his self-published role-playing game, Varg Vikernes releases a sprawling, 90-minute double album of minimalist ambient music. The record completely foregoes metal instrumentation, relying on repetitive keyboard melodies, acoustic guitar strumming, and lo-fi soundscapes designed to evoke ancient European mythology. It effectively serves as the final creative statement under the controversial Burzum moniker.
