Album Notes & Community Reviews
Peter Steele鈥檚 pre-Type O Negative project reached its aggressive zenith on this relentlessly misanthropic crossover thrash classic. 'Retaliation' weaponizes thick, sludgy riffs and frantic hardcore punk tempos to deliver shockingly vulgar, darkly satirical takes on war, religion, and human extinction. It is a hateful, fiercely energetic, and deeply humorous cornerstone of the New York crossover scene.
