Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as one of the definitive masterpieces of the mallsoft subgenre, the Dutch producer crafts an incredibly immersive, deeply nostalgic auditory environment. 'Palm Mall' seamlessly loops highly degraded, heavily reverbed smooth jazz and muzak samples beneath actual field recordings of bustling, echoing shopping centers. The record provides a profoundly soothing, beautifully lethargic, and remarkably peaceful escape into 1990s consumerist nostalgia.
