Fantas Variations

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This unique remix project features an incredibly diverse roster of contemporary electronic and experimental artists reimagining the standout track 'Fantas' from Barbieri's acclaimed album 'Ecstatic Computation'. The record fractures her original, purely synthesized arpeggios into wildly varying styles, including blistering Singeli rhythms, haunting vocal choirs, and sweeping post-minimalist drone. It is a brilliant, eclectic testament to the enduring structural depth of her original modular composition.
