Biography
Italian composer Caterina Barbieri, born in Bologna in 1990, builds ecstatic modular-synth music from sequenced patterns and repetition. Conservatory-trained in guitar and electroacoustic composition, she broke through with 'Patterns of Consciousness' (2017) and 'Ecstatic Computation' (2019) on #Editions Mego#, and founded her own #Light-Years# label for 'Spirit Exit' (2022). Her live shows translate the studio patterns into overwhelming physical waves of sound..
