Album Notes & Community Reviews

Performing at the University of Michigan, the famously troubled trumpeter delivers a remarkably confident, beautifully melodic set. The completely drumless, piano-focused backing allows his fragile, highly lyrical tone to float effortlessly over the complex arrangements.
