The debut solo project from former Women frontman Patrick Flegel introduces their unsettling, incredibly distinct drag persona. The deeply lo-fi recordings sound like haunted 1960s girl-group 45s rotting away in a damp basement, wrapping incredibly beautiful, classic pop melodies in terrifying shrouds of tape hiss and shrieking guitar feedback. It operates as a brilliant, terrifying exercise in sonic juxtaposition.
