Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of the acclaimed indie rock outfit Women, Patrick Flegel adopts a drag persona to explore deeply unsettling, lo-fi pop aesthetics. 'Malenkost' violently buries the sweet, nostalgic melodies of 1960s girl groups beneath suffocating layers of harsh noise and tape distortion. This terrifying juxtaposition creates an incredibly dark, lonely, and profoundly surreal auditory experience.
