Album Notes & Community Reviews
Co-produced by Michael Rother of NEU!, Cluster completely revolutionized their sprawling, dissonant ambient sound into remarkably tight, drum-machine-driven electronic miniatures. 'Zuckerzeit' is a deeply hypnotic, wonderfully playful pioneer of minimal synth pop, heavily utilizing intensely repetitive, delightfully mechanical rhythms to create a remarkably futuristic, highly melodic Krautrock masterpiece.
