Comprising Colin Walcott, Don Cherry, and Naná Vasconcelos, this multi-national trio pioneered a meditative, borderless fusion of jazz and traditional world music. The recording utilizes a vast array of global instrumentation, including sitar, berimbau, and pocket trumpet, weaving deeply spiritual, improvised acoustic textures.
