Blood Eagle

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conan's 'Blood Eagle' is an exercise in monolithic heaviness, delivering some of the most crushing riffs in doom metal history. The band's 'caveman battle doom' aesthetic is fully realized here, with downtuned guitars and thundering drums that evoke ancient battlefields. It is a simple, primal, and overwhelmingly powerful record that aims to flatten everything in its path.
