Grievous

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Entirely created by Australian multi-instrumentalist Brendan Sloan, this completely independent release is a masterclass in modern, highly technical blackened death metal. The incredibly dense, suffocating record features terrifyingly complex, dissonant riffing and unpredictable rhythmic structures that firmly align it with the avant-garde metal underground. It garnered intense word-of-mouth praise as one of the most punishing solo extreme metal projects of the year.
