Convulsing

Biography

Convulsing is the one-man dissonant death metal project of Sydney musician Brendan Sloan, who also plays in Dumbsaint and Altars. Its albums 'Errata' (2016), 'Grievous' (2018) and 'Perdurance' (2024) were written and performed by Sloan alone, pairing blackened ferocity with avant-garde structure to cult acclaim in the extreme metal underground. For live work the project expands with hired bass and drums on stage.
