Album Notes & Community Reviews

Setting the stage for their historic year, Creedence Clearwater Revival's sophomore effort fully realized their signature Southern-fried sound. Propelled by the epic 'Born on the Bayou' and 'Proud Mary', 'Bayou Country' is wonderfully warm and intensely rhythmic, matching deeply passionate, rebellious vocals with fiercely energetic, slightly psychedelic blues-rock jamming.
