Album Notes & Community Reviews
A highly ambitious concept album presented in three distinct chapters, '(Mankind) The Crafty Ape' offers a cynical examination of human nature and society. Sonically, the album leans more heavily into classic progressive rock and blues-rock influences while retaining the band's signature atmospheric post-rock sound. The result is a diverse and complex work that balances intricate arrangements with raw, passionate delivery.
