Album Notes & Community Reviews

Crippled Black Phoenix鈥檚 2026 offering, Sceaduhelm, finds the collective refining their expansive post-rock sound into a more focused and potent form. The production balances raw, visceral weight with crystalline clarity, allowing crushing doom-laden riffs to coexist with delicate, atmospheric textures. Thematically, the record explores psychological concealment and societal decay, articulated through the haunting interplay of Belinda Kordic's ethereal vocals and Justin Greaves' raw delivery. Its sprawling compositions favor dynamic, narrative-driven arcs that build from sparse passages to towering, cathartic crescendos, marking a significant evolution in their cinematic approach.
