Album Notes & Community Reviews

The New Orleans heavyweights continue their reign over the Southern sludge metal scene with another agonizingly slow, crushingly heavy release. 'Equilibrium' occasionally integrates slightly faster hardcore punk tempos, but primarily relies on Kirk Windstein's massive, detuned riffs and tortured vocal roars. The lyrical content remains fiercely introspective, dealing heavily with themes of depression and personal struggle.
