Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the influential New Orleans sludge veterans, 'Symmetry in Black' is a masterclass in slow, suffocatingly heavy riffing. Frontman Kirk Windstein's soulful, weathered bellow delivers surprisingly introspective lyrics detailing personal perseverance and spiritual battles. The album perfectly balances the band's trademark doom-laden aggression with moments of mournful, melodic clarity.
