Album Notes & Community Reviews

Crystal Castles' third album moves away from the aggressive 8-bit chaos of their earlier work toward a darker, more atmospheric witch house sound. The production is submerged in reverb and delay, creating a suffocating yet hypnotic aesthetic. Alice Glass's vocals are ghostlike and distant, emphasizing themes of oppression and dystopian despair.
