Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their rebellious pivot away from traditional Norwegian black metal, the legendary duo fully embraced a grimy, speed-metal and crust-punk aesthetic. The record functions as an unapologetic, riff-heavy love letter to the gritty heavy metal underground of the 1980s. Its raw production and anthemic vocal deliveries solidified their transition into the premier purveyors of blackened heavy metal.
