Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a highly significant pivot, the Norwegian black metal pioneers heavily integrate crust punk and 1980s speed metal into their primitive sound. This stylistic shift polarized purists but successfully launched a new, punk-infused era for the legendary duo. The album features a notably raw, live-rehearsal production aesthetic.
