Transilvanian Hunger

Album Notes & Community Reviews

A quintessential pillar of the second wave of black metal, 'Transilvanian Hunger' is defined by its relentless blast beats, freezing tremolo-picked riffs, and incredibly raw, lo-fi production. The album creates a hypnotic, almost trance-like atmosphere through its repetitive, cold song structures and harsh, shrieking vocals. It strips heavy music down to its most primitive and atmospheric core, remaining a blueprint for extreme metal purity.
