Album Notes & Community Reviews

Considered the absolute core of their unholy trinity of releases, 'Under a Funeral Moon' is an uncompromising, intensely cold pillar of Norwegian black metal. Darkthrone entirely abandons death metal influences for a fiercely lo-fi, raw guitar assault steeped in extreme misanthropy and satanism.
