Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating to Europe, the American vibraphonist assembled an elite quartet featuring guitarist Volker Kriegel to explore the outer edges of electric jazz-rock. Recorded for the esteemed MPS label, the sessions brilliantly integrate complex avant-garde techniques with heavily rhythmic, psychedelic fusion. The resulting interplay captures a deeply innovative, heavily textured peak of the continental European jazz scene.
