Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his departure from the E Street Band, David Sancious delivered a dizzying display of instrumental virtuosity with 'True Stories'. The album masterfully blends lightning-fast jazz-rock fusion with grand, classically-inspired progressive rock structures. Highlighted by his staggering synthesizer and guitar work, the record remains a highly praised, sophisticated highlight of late-seventies American fusion.
