Album Notes & Community Reviews

Revitalized by the induction of vocalist David Coverdale and bassist/singer Glenn Hughes, Deep Purple's 'Mark III' lineup delivered a remarkably bluesy, incredibly soulful hard rock triumph. Highlighted by its blistering, classically inspired title track, 'Burn' is a fiercely energetic, intensely passionate album that effortlessly reestablishes the band's heavy, highly melodic arena dominance.
