Album Notes & Community Reviews

Facing the seemingly impossible task of replacing legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, Deep Purple recruited young virtuoso Tommy Bolin for what became the final studio album of their classic run. 'Come Taste the Band' injects their signature arena power with surprisingly soulful, wonderfully rhythmic funk-rock grooves, creating an incredibly energetic, deeply passionate, and fiercely melodic hard rock swan song.
